Invites have been sent! I'll get a new scene up and running today. First, please read through http://soltrader.net/info/history to get some backstory, as well as the story so far: https://storium.com/game/sol-trader-journeys-dawn/chapter-1/scene-1.

DoctorT and Cursed, do feel free to create some characters. The next scene is going to be ship-board, so it would be good if you had some plausible reason why you would be aboard the White Haired Man's ship. Once you've got some characters with backstories then I can get the scene going.

As I've said before, we'll be having various scenes, of which you don't always need to continue characters (we can write characters in and out). So if there are others who want to join in, please post here.

Brilliant, I'll have a think this evening and try to create a character that fits in tomorrow. How big is the interceptor? When I originally read the scene I imagined it to be reasonably small and compact, which might limit the ways another occupant could be already on board but ignored during the getaway. I could be imagining wrong though! I may pop a few thoughts and ideas here or on the green room before I dive into character creation :-)

I don't have size specifications, but we're talking big enough for people to hide in. Story thoughts in the Green room please.

Story question: I don't currently have a running version of the game. What cities are there on Venus? Has it been terraformed? Are they climate controlled domes? Some general info would be helpful.

Currently one city (Vikon), although there will probably be two major cities in the final game. No terraforming, but lots of small climate controlled domes connected by underground tunnels. Most of the city is underground: only the most expensive property has surface access. It's a medium sized mining colony, with cheap metals mostly. Food and water are expensive.

Hope that helps! [smile]

Having finished two scenes, it might be nice to take a back seat for a while if anyone else is up for narrating. Let me know.
